School Building
Nestled on a lush green village over looking river Hasdeo, the DPS school building stands elegant coupled with rich but with simplicity in its architectural appearance. The large and lavish play grounds, ever green flower gardens, glazy lawns spotted and made more elegant by ponds, which renders aquatic realities to the curious eyes of the kids, etc are the components that go to make the school building magnificent.
The classrooms, the dance room, the music room, the common audio-video rooms and the enclosed spacey assembly area etc go hand in hand to provide the utility and ambience needed for a modern day school infrastructure. The classrooms are physically viewable, while the inside operational activities are electronically viewed, monitored and consequently guided for enhancing performance.
Health Services
An airy, well ventilated, well kept room with beds and basic medical facilities . The informative charts and poster on the walls describing the importance of healthy body welcome the little patients. The clinic can handle situations by providing immediate relief in the form of first-aid. Apart from this it also conducts regular medical check up of the students and maintains health cards.
Reports of any medical examination are sent to the parents of students who require special treatment. The school has tie-ups with all Specialists and the students are taken to them as required. The school authorities reserve the right to refer a student to any specialist for treatment or operation when the need arises and when time is at a premium. In all normal cases, the parents are consulted before such action is taken.
Transportation
The school has bus facility from most of the locations of the District. Specially designed buses for the safety & comfort of the students is provided. The children are picked & dropped by the escorts. The routes are planned in such a way that the travel time of the children is minimized.
Transportation is available in the range of approx 60 k.m. from the campus and the places are : Champa, Janjgir, Naila, Paharia , Pamgarh, Daarang, Shivrinarayan, Nawagarh, Kharaud, Khartal, Sakti, Umreli, Baradwar, Jaijaipur, Saragaon, Birra, Bamnidih, Kosmanda ,Taldevri, Pamgarh, Baloda.

Paraphernalia/Infrastructure
DPS-JC has ventilated, spacious and aesthetically designed classrooms, staff rooms and AV rooms. All classrooms are of 500 sq. ft each.
Laboratories
Large, fully equipped laboratories are there to encourage students to partially explore what they have learnt theoretically and inculcate in them the scientific temper of experimentation and validation. The school has the following laboratories: Physics, Biology, Chemistry, Maths, Computer Lab.

A reliable security system with professional security personnel, a completely fenced campus, 24/7 guard duty are in place to safeguard the sprawling campus.
