EXHIBITION ON SCIENCE, SST, ROBOTICS & AI
Science is the greatest antidote to the poison of enthusiasm and superstition.
DPS-JC organised an exhibition on multiple subjects such as Science, Social Studies, Robotics & Artificial Intelligence ( AI ) simultaneously in different rooms of th the school on 6 of February, 2023 under the guidance and support of the Principal Mrs. Kalpana Singh, Mr. Pritam Patra ( Science teacher) , Mrs. Saira Khan( HOD, SSTDept. ) and Hemant Jena SST Teacher .
In the beginning of the event, our honourable Principal Mrs.Kalpana Singh inaugurated Science exhibition by cutting the ribbon in the presence of Pritam Patra ( Science Teacher) and visited the stalls where all the science models were displayed by the students of class-6. The science models included Holograms, Hydroelectric Power Plant, Photosynthesis Process in Plants, Electromagnetic Crane, The Solar system and so on. It further exhibited models based on Robotics and Artificial Intelligence, prepared by the students under the guidance and supervision of Ms. Archana Chauhan ( Teacher of IT ). The models displayed were such as a Car Model, a Crane on robotics. There were presented together by Anshuman of class-8(B), Tushit Kumar of class-7 (A) and Atharva Ganesh Jare of class 7. Abhinav Choudhury of class 8B presented PPT on Artificial Intelligence . The esteemed parents of the school children also visited the science fair and all applauded for it. The honourble Principal appreciated the students for their scientific quest and encouraged them to ignite scientific temperament in them exponentially in them. Before the exhibition of SST took place, the respected Principal, Mrs.Kalpana Singh , inaugurated Legal Literacy Room(LLR) where the exhibition was organized in the presence of Mrs. Saira Khan (HOD, Dept S.ST) and Mr. Hemant Jena (Teacher of S.ST). The students of class-7 A & B both exhibited different varieties of art, folk dance, monuments, food habits, famous personalities of history and geography of Chhattisgarh also through a number of paintings and crafts. Preserving one’s culture is a must for maintaining the identity of a race. Hence, the students showed their love and affection towards the ancient and glorious culture of their beloved state. Some parents of the students visited it also and appreciated the creative work of the students reflecting in their models. The exhibition aimed at showcasing the scientific temperament, technological quest, historical knowledge and cultural heritage as well as creativity in art & craft of the students.
