FOUNDER’S DAY

Founder’s Day holds a special significance for each of us. It was the time to honour our history, celebrate our present and contemplate the bright future of our fraternity. With this positive thought our school DPS-JC pays homage to the founder of the school Shri Ram Gopal Dewangan Ji every year. Our school DPS-JC celebrated its Founders Day with great aplomb and gusto on 15th June, 2022. The Chief Guest of the program was Mr. Rajkishore Dewangan, President of DPS-JC and the Guest of Honour was Mr. Purushottam Dewangan, Vice President. The function began with the lighting of the ceremonial lamp by the dignitaries followed by a warm welcome. There was a lot of excitement among the teaching and non-teaching staff who were a part of this extravagant event. The esteemed members of the management expressed their gratitude towards the staff and felt proud to notice the school coming such a long way since its inception. The energy and vigor was palpable by the music teachers Mr. Subhas Chandra Yadav and Mr. K.N Sahu was the main attraction. The scintillating musical extravaganza by Mrs. Ompriya Choudhary won every one’s heart. It was followed by the cake cutting ceremony with great zeal and enthusiasm. On this auspicious day the Chief Guest reminded all the attendees of the humble beginning and the long distance the school has traversed. He further added- “Yesterday is but a dream, tomorrow is only a vision, but today well lived, makes every yesterday a dream of happiness and every tomorrow a vision of hope.” The program was flourishingly hosted by Mrs. Harmeet Kaur and concluded with a vote of thanks by Miss Priyanka Roy
