ENGLISH POEM RECITATION (SUB-JUNIOR) 26th June 2021
“Poetry is the rhythmical creation of beauty in words”.
Poem is a mode of expression, a medium to reflect the latent talents of the young ones. Children participated in English Poem Recitation Competition held on 26th June 2021 on virtual platform at DPS-JC. All the participant showed their confidence, expression and talent in the competition as well as their eye-catching props added icing to the cake, Poetry gets to their core meaning. It expands ideas as well as poetry can prove to be instrumental stepping stones for young children to drill properly and improve pronunciation. Poem recitation is one of the important activities which helps in removing kids’ hesitation and promoting them to perform on the stage.
Young children charmed the judges Miss Monalisha Prasad and Mrs. Jayanti Yadav with their poise, grace, confidence and expressions. The use of innovative, artistic and creative props enlivened the enactment and made the whole competition a treat to watch. The Sub-Junior wing thoroughly enjoyed the poem recitation.
